What’s Really Going On Here?
A lot of people have asked me why I am creating another computer repair business, well the truth is I'm not. The real reason Virtual Disaster exists to create a Internet/gaming cafe. One which the public can come to and enjoy systems for playing games, surfing the Internet, or spend time actually getting some work done. Yes I would like to offer minor computer services but by no means do I want that to be Virtual Disaster's primary objective. We will not be another average computing facility. Furthermore I want to offer more than just Internet, gaming and minor computer work. In the future we want to help everyone achieve success because my real dream is to create a learning center that is based upon using 100% open source software.
Overloaded server, Chakra downloads temporarly disabled
I love open source so I try to give back any way that I can. So I recently decided to give the Chakra project a hand with project mirroring because of well obvious reasons. (Such as the reason I'm writing this post). However I just wanted to inform the community that open source projects and those that support those projects need funding for hosting, development, and well just to pay the bills. So in short I need to upgrade my hosting to dedicated so that we can start providing hosting for open source projects again. So those of you waiting to download Chakra please bear with us while we resolve this issue. Thanks again to Phil from the Charka project in helping me out with this problem. Once we fix this I'll post back.
UPDATE: Still waiting to get access to files so that we may move them to another server.
UPDATE: In the process of moving files to new location. The default "ftp" command is a lot of fun...
UPDATE: The files have been moved to their new location and once we get everything sorted out the new links will be posted.
The Chakra news section provides a little more insight. More on this and other news later. In the meantime I would like to apologize to all the users wanting to access Chakra downloads, sorry for the inconvenience and we hope to do more in the future to prevent such "blackouts".

Moving forward, faster than expected
Wow well things have been busy as ever! We're still updating the site to add more functionality and documentation as well as a new support system. So look forward to more content and interaction within the upcoming weeks.
In other news we keep very busy and thanks to that we are looking to get a facility within the next few weeks! This has been a long time coming and we rapidly moving forward so we are really excited to create the first official "Virtual Disaster" in the next few months. We are putting together some new and interesting services in anticipation of getting a building to house our project.
Also we are looking to start work on a few open source projects and will be soon updating the site to reflect what projects we will be working on or supporting.
